Leak Sealing and Crack Injection

Seal leaking cracks, joints and fractures using injection resins designed to stop water at the source without excavation.

Leak Sealing and Crack Injection

Water entering through concrete is one of the most common and damaging issues in retaining walls, basements and underground structures. Once water finds a path, it widens cracks, corrodes reinforcements and leads to long–term deterioration. Advanced Ground Solutions provides professional leak sealing and crack injection services utilising a hydrophilic polyurethane resin that is engineered for fast, permanent and non-invasive water leak repairs.

What is Leak Sealing

Leak sealing is a targeted repair method that stops water at its source inside the concrete. A hydrophilic polyurethane resin is injected directly into the leaking crack, fracture or joint. The resin mixes with water during injection, expands to fill voids and forms a tight, impermeable elastomeric seal that stops water flow immediately.

Unlike surface coatings or membranes, leak sealing works from the inside out. Because the resin becomes part of the concrete itself, it cannot be pushed off by water pressure and remains flexible enough to accommodate minor movement. This makes it ideal for negative side waterproofing where the positive side cannot be accessed.

FAQ

They are different terms for the same process: replacing failed stumps and re-levelling the house above them.

Hexplates are engineered steel footings that spread load more effectively, avoid excavation and curing delays, and are eco-friendly compared to concrete.

Most projects can be completed in days, depending on the size of the house and access. Hexplates are fast to install and provide immediate structural support.

Yes. They are designed to perform in Perth’s reactive clays, sands, and limestone soils.

Leak sealing stops water. If structural movement is present, we can recommend stabilisation or underpinning works.

Yes. The resin reacts with water, so it can be injected into active leaks.

Yes. Once injected, the resin becomes part of the concrete and forms a long lasting internal seal.
